After visiting Colorado as a kid I always dreamed of living in the Mountains. In the summer of 2001, I followed my heart and made the cross country trek from Dublin, Ohio to Red Cliff, Colorado, and it was the best decision I ever made!
Moving to Red Cliff brought me to my soul mate (and now my husband) Todd. In 2005 we planned and wrote our wedding ceremony. We knew we wanted to get married in the mountains but with our older family members and guests, this posed a problem. We decided to have two weddings and a weeklong celebration!

Soon after our wedding Todd and I purchased a fixer upper home in Leadville Colorado. After 4 years of renovations we have completed our project and enjoy living in our dream home with our two dogs Zeus and McKinley.
Living in the mountains allows me to enjoy all the outdoor activities that I love! I am an avid telemark skier and mountain biker. I also enjoy ski joring with my dogs, gardening, hiking and yoga. I feel truly blessed to live in one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the world!

Rocky Mountain Wedding Officiants About Chris Turner
On Monday Todd and I, and our closest family and friends made the one mile trek to the top of the snow-covered continental divide. We held an outdoor ceremony overlooking the majestic Sawatch Mountain Range at Tennessee Pass. After a wonderful dinner and dancing, we skied down the mountain under the full moon! On Friday we flew to Florida and held a second ceremony waterside at my grandfather's house followed by another dinner and dancing to a salsa band. We felt so fortunate to create two ceremonies that were unique, intimate and fun!
I am passionate about life and would love to bring my creativity, positive energy, organization and people skills to all the ceremonies I officiate. When it comes to weddings I believe the possibilities are endless! I look forward to working with you and helping you create an unforgettable wedding.

We were so happy with Chris. She did a great job & all my guests were telling me how adorable she was afterwards. It did end up being unseasonably cold that day, it was about -10 with wind chills at -35 degrees but she still showed up & did great & also kept in great communication with me. I would love to use her again in the future if/when we renew our vows. We are 110% happy!!! I thought (this photo) captured her warm, inviting smile & personality pretty well. Thanks again.

I wanted to thank you for helping to make my recent wedding a beautiful success! The whole process working with you all was very smooth and easy. Chris did an amazing job on our ceremony and I could not have imagined a more perfect person for a ski wedding. The words were very touching, heartfelt, and perfect for what we were looking for. Overall, everything was perfect!
