As a newlywed myself, I understand how important it is to plan a wedding day that reflects you and your partner's personalities and style. My own wedding ceremony was very small and intimate, with just six people. I planned every detail- the location, flowers, candles, music, and of course I wrote my own ceremony. Because our families were spread out among Alaska, Colorado and New York, it was too costly to expect everyone to fly to Alaska, so our alternative was to hold a simple, yet elegant, ceremony that involved just four of our closest friends in Alaska.
I have always been and will always be a mountain girl. Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, I had the unique opportunity to live in a true mountain community, where the city logo is "Big Wild Life". I have a great appreciation for all things nature and outdoors.
Our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be-stress free and fun!

After thirty-two years of living primarily in Alaska, in the fall of 2008 my husband and I decided to move to Colorado, in order to be closer to family, when we discovered that we were expecting our first child. We hope to be able to raise our son in a similar mountain community to which I was raised in and the Rocky Mountains seem like a great place to instill a love for skiing, hiking, biking and all that the great outdoors has to offer!
