Non-Customized Ceremonies
Rocky Mountain Elopement Ceremony...a romantic experience just for the two of you
Want your special day to be just between the two of you? Thinking of a Rocky Mountain Destination wedding? Maybe you only want a few family members to witness your vows. Consider our elopement ceremony to make your intimate wedding ceremony a memory that you will treasure.
This 12-minute service is a delightful and affordable alterative to the County Courthouse wedding. We'll come to the location of your choice, and we can recommend some breathtakingly beautiful mountaintop sites for your Rocky Mountain elopement.
If you live in another part of the country and are considering a brief ceremony followed by a honeymoon in the beautiful Colorado Rockies, then this ceremony option may be right for you.
Elopement Ceremony Includes:
- Your choice of pre-written civil or nondenominational religious ceremony in a casual setting (no wedding party, processional, etc.)
- Up to 8 guests
- Performing of ceremony by one of Lyssabeth's experienced wedding officiants in the Vail area (additional fees apply if you are more than 30 minutes from us.)
- Arrival of officiant 10 minutes prior to start of ceremony
- Filing of license
- Discounted Change of name kit ($9.95)

Basic Wedding Ceremony
...a pre-written ceremony for you and your guests
Although our passion at Lyssabeth's is writing and performing custom ceremonies, we also realize that not every couple wants that level of personalization in their ceremony. Sometimes there are circumstances that warrant a ceremony that can be performed beautifully and/or on short notice. To that end, we offer a pre-written civil or religious ceremony.
Basic Ceremony Includes:
- Your choice of pre-written civil or nondenominational religious ceremony in the setting of your choice
- Unlimited number of guests
- Performing of ceremony by one of Lyssabeth's experienced wedding officiants in the Vail area (additional fees apply if you are more than 30 minutes from us.)
- Arrival of officiant 15 minutes prior to start of ceremony
- Filing of license
- Discounted Change of name kit ($9.95)

Note: our non-customized ceremonies are designed for couples who want an affordable yet high-quality wedding ceremony. Therefore, they do not include pre-wedding in-person meetings with your officiant. We respect your busy schedule and your need to keep wedding planning time to a minimum so all pre-wedding arrangements can be done via phone and email.

Payments and deposits
For customized ceremonies (Classic and Premium), we require a $200 deposit with the balance due two weeks before your wedding. Upon receipt of deposit, we will e-mail you a contract for your review and signature, add your date and time to our calendar and send you the initial resources you will need for writing your ceremony.
Payment is due in full upon booking for non-customized ceremonies (Basic Plus and Elopement).
Payments are non-refundable if you cancel, but may be applied to a different day and time (up to 6 months beyond the original date of your wedding) with no penalty subject to 48 hours notice. Payments for services are not taxed.
